JEFF DARBY
Trained as a visual artist, and a California native, Jeff Darby received his Bachelor of Fine Arts with high distinction in Film/Video/Performance from the California College of Arts and Crafts in 1995. Darby began working with Sound in 1992 while producing his own films, and in 1993 began working with Earwax Productions in San Francisco. Some of Darby's Past Audio Credits in film include the1997 IMAX film "WHALES", " Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within", "Supernova" and Finland's Avant-garde "Asphalto, an Aria for 13 Gas Stations." Darby has also sound designed many Flash Animations for the Internet including Wildbrain's "Glue" and "Joe Paradise." Recent Sound Design Projects include three new independent feature films; Vin Crease's "Slaughterhouse Of The Rising Sun," Jesse Spencer's "Corner Of Your Eye," and Michael Wohl's "WANT." While working in Sound Design, Jeff Darby continues to make his own films, and has worked as a freelance sound designer with Earwax Productions, Outpost Film Center, and Skywalker Sound.
