i came to the bay area in 1994 from new york / new jersey and got a bachelor's degree in urban studies from stanford university.

after a stint as a management consultant in los angeles, i moved back to silicon valley during the dot com boom to work as a web designer. i started out making sites for monkeyrules.com, then i worked as a developer and java programmer for eainvest, inc.

i currently do contract web work for informative, a marketing research company.

in addition, i work on a variety of freelance projects, both independently and in collaboration with saramanda designs and e2 media creative studio.
